About Us

Beldi Roots was founded by a Palestinian–Moroccan family living in Sweden, shaped by more than one culture but deeply connected to Morocco and its traditions. Living away from Morocco made us appreciate the everyday rituals we grew up around in a different way.

Moroccan black soap, Nila, Argan oil, Aker Fassi, and the Hammam were never presented to us as beauty trends. They were simply part of life shared through families, repeated across generations, and trusted long before they appeared on modern skincare shelves.

Distance reminded us that what feels familiar to us can be completely new to someone else. It also showed us how easily traditional ingredients can be separated from the people, knowledge, and culture behind them.

That is why we created Beldi Roots: to share Moroccan body-care traditions beyond Morocco while remaining respectful of where they come from.

Our name reflects this purpose. Beldi means traditional in Darija, something local, familiar, and authentically Moroccan. Roots represents the land, heritage, family knowledge, and people behind every ritual.

From our family in Sweden, with roots reaching across Morocco and Palestine, we hope to introduce these traditions to the world with honesty, care, and the recognition they deserve.

Beldi Roots is not only about what is inside a jar. It is about the knowledge, hands, ingredients, and traditions behind it.

Every product is inspired by Moroccan beauty rituals that have been shared across families and generations. We aim to preserve the simplicity of these traditions while presenting them in a way that fits naturally into modern routines. No unnecessary complexity. No pretending that heritage needs to be reinvented. Just thoughtful body care rooted in traditions that have already stood the test of time.

Our Craft

Traditional craftsmanship takes time, attention, and experience. That is why we choose quality over mass production and work with people who understand the ingredients and rituals behind our products.

From the preparation of Moroccan soap to the use of argan oil, Nila, and Aker Fassi, we value methods that respect the character of each ingredient.

Our goal is not to erase the imperfections of traditional production, but to protect the care, knowledge, and human touch that make it meaningful.

Our Ethics

At Beldi Roots, ethics are not an afterthought they guide every decision we make. We work closely with skilled Moroccan artisans, support fair and respectful working relationships, source our materials responsibly, and choose quality over mass production.

Through traditional craftsmanship and mindful production, we aim to create products that honor our heritage, the people behind every product, and the planet we all share. For us, responsible production also means being honest about what we make, where it comes from, and why we make it.

We do not want Moroccan traditions to become an aesthetic without meaning. The culture, knowledge, and people behind these rituals deserve recognition and respect.

Authenticity. Quality. Craftsmanship. Respect for our roots.

We want every Beldi Roots product to feel connected to the tradition that inspired it not like a trend, a shortcut, or a mass-produced imitation.

Whether these rituals are already part of your life or you are discovering them for the first time, we invite you to slow down, care for yourself, and experience traditions that have been valued for generations.

From our deep and rich heritage to the world.
